Yamaha EMX5016CF 16 Input Powered Mixer with Dual 500 Watt Power Amplifier

The EMX5016CF is a stereo powered mixer with 16 inputs, two separate built-in digital effects and two 500-watt amplifiers. It is housed in a sturdy chassis that is optionally rack mountable. The mixer section is a 16- input stereo design that has 4 aux sends, 2 for the internal effects and 2 monitor sends, switchable pre or post fader. Inputs 1-8 have 3-band EQ with sweepable mids. Inputs 9/10 to 15/16 have 3-band EQ with fixed mid frequency. All 8 mono channels are also equipped with easy to use single knob compression to get the most from vocals and other dynamic inputs. The effect sends are routed to the dual built-in DSPs that provide 2 high quality effects (16 presets each) based on Yamaha’s popular SPX-series effect processors. Digital 9-band EQ on the Stereo bus allows you to tailor and adjust for different venues and setups, and save these settings in one of three user memories. A maximizer is also available on the stereo bus to enhance the overall output. Assuring the EMX 5016CF will grow with you, the two amplifiers can easily be switched to accept the main stereo left and right outputs, allowing 500-watts for each main speaker, have the main output routed to one amplifier, allowing the other to be used for the monitors, or both channels can be used for monitors. The amplifier section uses Yamaha’s proprietary YSP, or Yamaha Signal Processing circuitry to optimize performance with Yamaha Club Series speakers. The EMX5016CF uses small, quiet fans to keep the amplifiers cool. Numerous output jacks on the front panel allow the EMX5016CF the flexibility to connect to other systems as needed.
