good with podcaster Apr 02, 2007 An unexpected benefit of using this with the Podcaster is that its mount is nearer the center of gravity of the microphone. This means it doesn't try and tip over small desktop mic stands - which are a little unstable. This is because the podcaster is suspended from the rear - the stand mount for the microphone is an inch or two further up than it would be without it.
