jbl's Jun 12, 2010 i use a 300 watt / per channel crown power amp to drive these speakers , along with an EQ and a compressor , ..and a pair of homemade subs { 15" electrovoice }..the JBL's sound great , ..at high or low volume , ..crystal clear . for the $$ , i highly recommend them .

nice speakers Jan 27, 2010 i use them in my project studio and also for DJing, they have major drop off in both the high and low end tho, subs needed
These sound good Aug 18, 2009 I got a set of these for my basement and they work great. They don't
have to be blasted to sound good. They are sort of large, but if you
have a big room, they are not bad. Nice clear sound. Brightness can
be reduced by just turning down the treble a little. I'm pushing them
with only 205 wpc and that seems like plenty for home use. Where else
can you get a decent sounding horn speaker for $220?
