When it is time to get a little more overdrive and just a bit more volume, this is the ticket. Clean, simple and effective. Beautiful.

This product works well. It makes your input sound louder. My bass has a good sound but low output, and without this, I have to turn the amp WAY up and get lots of static/hum in the process, which is not good. Luckily, this fixed the problem. Before, I was using a Bifet Preamp, which is very archaic, and sounds good, but cuts certain high frequencies in the process of boosting the volume. This product, on the other hand does NOTHING but boosts the volume of your sound before looping it into the amp, which is exactly what it should do. Also, it comes with a wall adaptor, so you don't have to waste batteries, like on the Bifet Preamp.
Good product. The Bull looks stupid. "Boosta Grande!" is a stupid name for a pedal, but it works good.

Exactly right... Sep 18, 2009
This pedal does one thing and does it exactly right. I play acoustic instruments (guitar and dobro) so when I wanted more volume for a lead I had to reach over to my pre-amp(mounted on my mic stand), increase the volume, play, them reverse it for backup. With this pedal, I set the increase I want and step on the switch. There's no pop when it goes on or off, it just provides the increased volume I need. Simple, easy, and exactly right. I hate stuff that doesn't do what it's supposed to, or is overly complicated. This thing I love and use regularly. I use the AC adapter so I am not sure how hard it is on batteries, but if it took a new one every night it would still be worth it., But, you get the adapter with the pedal so you don't need to buy anything else. If you need what this thing does, just buy it... you won't regret your purchase.
